Details
In 1924, Andre Breton published the Surrealist Manifesto. It was the written constitution of a movement which, drawing on Sigmund Freud's psychoanalysis, espoused a higher reality of the subconscious and the world of dreams. Each of the five artists presented in this DVD gave form to these ideas in their unique way - from Miro's world of symbolism and colour to Dali's tangible dream scapes. Run time 50 minutes.
