As well as beautiful photography and specially composed music, itメs full of fascinating facts and historical notes. For example most people believe Cornwall starts as you cross the River Tamar, and indeed it does now, but in fact an earlier boundary between Devon and Cornwall was a tiny stream running through Cawsand, which is the first village to be visited. There are legends and anecdotes, visits to beautiful Cornish fishing ports such as Polperro, Cadgwith, and Port Quin (Where Doc Martin is filmed), the inside story of the Cornish Pasty, and a river trip from Fowey to Lerryn which inspired the モWind in the Willowsヤ sto011. ries. Other villages visited are Port Isaac, where they have recently filmed the モDoc Martinヤ series, Tintagel, famous for its links with King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, and Zennor where a mermaid reputedly lured a young man from the village into the sea to be her husband.
