The Ring, which also includes the Ashton Canal, Sir John Ramsden Canal and the Calder & Hebble Navigation, takes us across the Pennines from Central Manchester to Huddersfield, follows the Calder Valley to Sowerby Bridge, and brings us back across the Pennines to Manchester. It takes us through the longest canal tunnel in the world underneath Standedge Moor. We travel through some of the most spectacular scenic landscapes in Britain. 107 wide locks and 92 narrow locks which you donﾒt have to open and close. Sit back and enjoy.
